🪄 How the Commission Process Works

1. Submit Your Request: Fill out the commission request form online or email your details to [email protected].
2. Provide Reference Material: Upload a well-lit photo (light should be behind the camera and slightly off to the side) or submit a written concept.
3. Deposit: A 50% deposit is required before any work begins. Payments are securely handled online, or alternative options are available upon request.
4. Sketch Stage (Concept-Only Projects):
   If you don’t have a reference photo, I will create three rough sketches based on your written description after your deposit is received.
   You’ll choose one to move forward with.
   If none of the sketches are approved and you choose not to proceed, 25% of the total cost will be refunded.
5. Creation: Once all details are confirmed, I’ll begin painting. Typical turnaround is 4–8 weeks, depending on my current queue.
6. Final Payment & Delivery: The remaining balance is due before pickup or shipping.

📐 Canvas Sizes & Pricing

All paintings are created on stretched gallery-grade canvas with archival varnish. Choose matte or gloss finish and black-and-white or full color — all at no extra charge.

💡 A “subject” can be a person, animal, or other primary figure in the painting. More subjects require more time and detail.

✏️ No Reference Photo? No Problem.

If you have a concept but no specific photo, I can still bring your vision to life.
Once your deposit is received:

• ✍️ I will create three unique rough sketches based on your written description.
• 🖼️ You’ll choose the concept that speaks to you.
• 💭 If none feel right and you choose not to continue, 25% of the total cost will be refunded.

📸 Choosing the Best Reference Photo

A strong reference image is key to a stunning result. Follow these tips:

• 📷 Clarity: Choose sharp, well-lit photos with visible details.
• 🖼️ Composition: Avoid filters or extreme cropping. Full-view images work best.

📜 Commission Agreement

By submitting a commission request and deposit, you agree to the following terms:

• A 50% deposit is required to begin work and is non-refundable once painting has started.
• If the project is concept-based and no sketch is approved, 25% of the total cost will be refunded.
• Creative interpretation is part of the process; final artwork may differ slightly from references.
• Estimated completion times are provided but not guaranteed.
• The artist retains copyright and reproduction rights; the client owns the original painting for personal use only.
• The remaining balance must be paid before pickup or shipment.
• If the artist cancels the commission, the deposit will be fully refunded.
